BOON WAI CHEW

Boon is a Malaysian Director and Cinematographer. A graduate in Film and Broadcasting from the Science University of Malaysia (USM), he is an alumnus of the Asian Film Academy under the Busan International Film Festival 2018.

Known for his ‘versatile’ background because he specialise in different role such as Cinematography, Assistant Director and also Director in the industry stands out in the current trend digital space.

His portfolio includes both Malaysian and regional work, having been engaged by brands such as Cetaphil, Enercal Plus, Hong Leong Bank, Maggi, Sealy, Garena Free Fire, Grab, Nutrilite, Decathlon, Honor Malaysia, Lalamove, Dettol, Carsome just to name a few. He also has the privilege to collaborate with acclaimed advertising agency in the region such as M&C Saatchi, Dex Ventures, Dentsu, Ensemble Worldwide, MediaCliq, Bonsey Jaden, and Entropia.
